We started this business in 2017 after having an absolutely horrible experience trying to buy a shed ourselves. It was stressful, confusing, and honestly… it left a bad taste in our mouths.
So we built Shed Gal to be the total opposite of that.
We believe buying a shed (or any outdoor structure) should be exciting, not exhausting. Our goal is to give you an experience you’ll actually look back on fondly. No pressure, no runaround, and no games. Just honest answers, clear expectations, and a smooth process from start to finish.

I spent months going down a rabbit hole researching sheds and came out more confused than when I started. DIY kits had the best prices but reviews on lumber quality and instructions were all over the place. The install-included options from the big box stores were not much better since the quality seemed to depend heavily on whoever they happened to contract the work out to, and you had zero say in who that was. I had basically talked myself out of every option I looked at until I called Shed Gal and got Susan on the phone.
She answered every question I had, walked me through their process, and genuinely helped me figure out what I actually needed. The customization options were a lot more than I expected. I was able to choose the style, number of windows, window type, placement, all of it. It felt less like buying a product off a shelf and more like actually building something to spec. From that first call to install day was about 4 weeks, which honestly felt fast given how much goes into it.
The install crew showed up at 6am and were completely done by 11, and that included painting. Five hours start to finish. The build quality is noticeably better than anything I saw from the box store kits. Studs are 16 inches on center instead of the 24 inches most kits default to, and they doubled up every third stud on top of that. I have zero concerns about the structural integrity of this thing and the lumber quality is not even in the same conversation as what you would get from a big box kit.

We purchased a greenhouse 3 weeks ago and it was built and delivered this past Wednesday. Today we purchased a storage shed off the lot. Our entire purchases were flawless. The manager, Mariah Dutton is the best!
