Outdoor Bars

The Deluxe Collection

More Information

Surface area preparations

The bar can be built on any level stable surface. Concrete, gravel, pavers or decking all work fine. There is no floor in the bar. The four walls of the structure sit on whatever surface you provide

What height bar stools should I order?

30″ tall bar stools work best. The main countertop height is approximately 42″.

Do we anchor the structures down?

Our bars are extremely solid and heavy. The structure sits on whatever level surface you have – we do not bolt or tie the structure down. If you are concerned about wind damage, especially if the bar is being placed in an exposed area, we highly recommend that you make provisions to secure the structure in place. This can be easily done using expansion bolts drilled through the framing of the walls down into the ground.

Maintenance

All of our outdoor bars are constructed using the best of quality, grade #1 pressure treated, yellow pine lumber – suitable for outdoor use all year round.  While the chemicals in pressure treated lumber prevent rot and ward off insects, they don’t prevent moisture from seeping into the wood, which over time can cause the wood to become cracked, splintered and warped. For this reason, we strongly encourage customers to seal their new bar on site after assembly – this can be achieved using an exterior grade paint or a combination stain/sealer.  Additionally, a sealer can provide UV protection to slow the rate at which your bar color fades.
